"You want to have lots of fun during your vacations, try new sports and improve your English or German on the side? Then come to Radolfzell on Lake Constance and make the vacations the best time of the year!" (Cornelia Schmitt, Program Coordinator Language Camps for Kids)
A language camp is a meaningful and well supervised activity for the school vacations. The camp language is predominantly English or German, and our counselors regularly invite the students to use the language in an informal way – even outside the classroom. They quickly notice that speaking in a relaxed atmosphere strengthens their sense of language and they become much more courageous after only a short time. Through intercultural interaction, the participants also develop social skills and team spirit.
In the morning, participants learn English or German in manageable groups according to their previous knowledge. A small placement test will take place beforehand. Reading, writing, listening comprehension and especially speaking are on the timetable of the language course, but also vocabulary work and grammar are not neglected. Our qualified trainers show how much fun learning can be in a varied and playful way.
And now it's getting international – after class in the summer, students from Germany and all over the world come together! For the afternoon, the children choose a focus: activity or soccer.
All camps are suitable for beginners as well as for small professionals in the respective sport. In the evenings, our counselors organize various activities around the accommodation. All those who stay for two weeks take part in a full-day excursion on Saturdays (for example climbing park).
